Sergei Shulin | Technical Advisor
Sergei Shulin is a technologist in the area of rare, trace, nonferrous, precious and
radioactive elements. He graduated from Mendeleev University of Chemical
Technology of Russia as a specialist (5.5
years) in 2015 and postgraduate school (4 years) in 2021.
The theme of his dissertation was “Extraction separation of heavy-medium group of rare earth elements”. He conducted research on the pilot-plant cascade of centrifugal extractors (containing >300 steps): made all the calculations, modeled, assembled and serviced according all the supposed separation lines.
As a postgraduate student, he was a lecturer at the department of physical chemistry at that university before moving to work in Germany where he led the development and execution of pilot-plant tests for various technologies, including Scandium, Vanadium, Rare Earths and in the separation of non-ferrous metal scrap waste, specifically containing nickel, manganese, and cobalt.
